The companywill fabricate 74 modules of carbon steel that will house fluid handling andcontrol distribution systems as part of the UK operator’s $3 billion project toredevelop the Schiehallion and Loyal fields.
BP intendsto replace the existing Schiehallion floating production, storage andoffloading vessel, as well as upgrade and extend the subsea system by addingnew risers and flowlines and drill additional wells, with the aim of exploitingthe fields’ remaining recoverable resources to extend their life to 2035.
