Oslo-listed vessel owner Eidesvik said in a stock exchange announcement on Thursday that it and CGG have agreed to end the charter of the Viking Vision immediately.
CGG will, however, have to continue paying the charter hire until the end of the intended firm period, which is July.
Eidesvik’s latest fleet status report indicates that CGG had extension options on the vessel until at least the end of 2022.
