The US supermajor said on Tuesday that the project involving two fields had been delivered on time and on budget.

California-based Chevron did not say how much the project is currently producing, but output is expected to ramp up to 94,000 barrels per day and 21 million cubic feet of gas per day "over the next several years", it said.

Chevron was expected to produce first oil from the project before the end of the year, Upstream reporting in mid-November
