The Swedishexplorer is using semi-submersible Bredford Dolphin to drill the 16/5-5 well onthe Luno 2 South structure, about nine kilometres south-east of the discoverywell in Lundin-operated production licence 359.
The probeaims to prove an extension of the find into neighbouring PL410,also operated by Lundin.
The Luno 2discovery, currently estimated to hold gross contingent resources of 25 millionto 120 million barrels of oil equivalent, is located about 15 kilometres southof Lundin’s Edvard Grieg field.
