The Houston-based operator, formerly named Camac Energy, said in a statement the field had started producing from the recently completed Oyo-8 development well in its wholly-operated block OML 120.
The well, located in 300 metres of water, is tied back to the Armada Perdana floating production, storage and offloading vessel and is expected to produce 7000 barrels per day following clean-up and optimisation of choke size.
