The pre-insulation services will be carried out at a new Perma-Pipe facility in Mundra, India, at Jindal Saw, a steel pipe producer that will make and fabricate the pipe, said Perma.
The pipeline needs to be insulated and electrically heated to enable oil flow as heavy crude is solid at ambient temperature.
