On Friday Upstream reported that Petronas was reviewing the project, which could now be suspended for at least two years.
Multiple sources told Upstream they were expecting the project to be halted, as the operator did not have the cash under its new strategy to allocate to project financing, however, at this time Petronas said it will solely postpone the commissioning of the project to a later date.
