Petrobras is evaluating possible environmental impacts after a riser was lost from a well linked to a floater on the Marlim field off Brazil in what was the second incident involving the state oil company on the field in a week.
The riser from a single well on the P-19 floating production, storage and offloading unit was “dropped” on Thursday, the Rio de Janeiro-based giant said.
“The well was automatically closed.
