Ruby 2 FPSO is 244.8 metres long, 41.2 metres wide and weighs more than 100,000 tonnes. It will have a maximum storage capacity of 645,000 barrels.
As earlier reported, the newly converted FPSO is set to replace Ruby Princess FPSO now operating in Ruby field off Vietnam.
The floater will be operated by Viet Nam Offshore Floating Terminal, a 60:40 joint venture between PTSC and MISC.
