The CPF was launched from an offshore floating dock at the South Korean shipyard’s Geoje facility on 19 September and is now berthed quayside, the Japanese operator said.
Work is now ongoing to install living quarters and integrate and commission all equipment for sail away before the unit is towed 5600 kilometres to the Ichthys field in the Browse basin off north-west Australia.
