In a brief statement on its website on Wednesday, Siem said it has concluded the sale of the 1996-built PSV to an unnamed buyer.
"The new owner will not trade the vessel in the OSV segment. The sale price is confidential," Siem said.
The company has had some tough luck with Siem Carrier over the past several months. In September 2015, a charter for the PSV with Petrobras in Brazil was terminated after the state-owned oil company failed to gain an operating licence for the vessel and had to scrap the deal.
