Joint venture partners Petronas and Shell are pressing ahead with the next development phase of the Bokor enhanced oil recovery project off Sarawak, Malaysia, with a bid contest expected to start soon for the main turnkey contract.
Shell indicated recently that a final investment decision for Bokor is on the cards for the third quarter next year.
Sources said the main turnkey contract for Bokor will cover the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of several wellhead platforms.
